After this the police arrested 59-year-old Kalicharan with the help of surveillance. The police have registered a case in this case under sections of the Rape and POCSO Act.

CIC’s counselor Deepali got the counseling done for both the girls. The police have recorded the statements of the minor girls. Medical examination of both the girls was done, in which rape has been confirmed. The age of both the girls is said to be less than 12 years. The family members of both the girls do daily chores.It is alleged that when the parents of the girls were not at home, Kalicharan often molested the girls. During this time he carried out the incident of rape. When both the girls informed the family about the incident, their senses were blown away. After this, both the families went to the police and lodged a case of rape.
